We have a great distributor that brings us regular orders for upcycled banner bags. They have found a niche market that really works for them, and subsequently for Brave USA as well.
The latest order was for some small zipper bag recycling end users conference banners. Typically we see standard vinyl banners, but this time it was a proprietary knit material that allowed us a bit more latitude in design options. We prototyped a few designs, and zeroed in to the design you see above.
Since these banners were larger than our cutting table, we had to cut them down to a manageable size. Per the customers’ request some areas of the banner were off limits for the finished project. We spent a few days cutting the banners, and were able to send them directly into production since the only logo was included as an embroidered label.
Three weeks after receipt of the banner material and approval of the prototype, we completed 5000 cute zipper bags for the end user to distribute at one of their trade shows. Customer was extremely pleased with the outcome of the project and is working on the next upcycled banner project. We’ll keep you posted when that one is completed.
If you have a customer looking for a socially responsible way to reduce their carbon footprint, this may be a great solution. We give new life to obsolete marketing banners, the best way to recycle is to upcycle and extend the life of these banners. Give Brave USA a call if your customer wants to be more eco!
