What do you do with old banners and billboards? Most of them go to the landfill when the marketing campaign is over. Some find their way back into the cycle as tarps, but we think we have a better solution to this landfill problem!
We take the used banners, cut them into manageable sizes, them upcycle them into functional bags that will expand and extend the brand reach with the used materials.
The latest project we completed had a tight deadline, as do most of our projects do these days. We received the billboard material in less than ideal condition that had to be sorted, cut into manageable sizes, cut into the correct panel size, and cleaned. Then we had to figure out the best printing options to add the company logo to each individual piece. The banner material was mixed qualities, and much lighter weight than we’d used before so we had to adapt our print method to the assorted material.
After the panels were printed with the company logo, the sewing floor team took over to begin the assembly process. With just about 2 weeks to complete the project from start to finish, our production team pulled out all the stops, and worked some long hours to complete the project with some colorful results.
